How do I cut the lace on my wig?
We recommend cutting all the excess lace in a zig zag shape as close to the hairline as possible leaving little or no lace visible to the eye. Please use the following link to view our video of how to cut the lace;

We do recommend asking a friend or relative to help measure your head as it is difficult getting an accurate measurement yourself and your hair is in a flat condition when measuring. We would advise that the person measuring your head measures your head at least three times. Kindly send us your measurements in inches so that we can determine the cap size you require.

How do I Choose the Lace Colour?
We recommend a transparent lace colour if you are Caucasian or fair skinned. Alternatively, our standard medium brown lace for brown complexions. However if you are a little dark and require the lace to be tinted darker, you can put this in the notes when purchasing.
If you are unsure of the lace colour you require, kindly send us a photo of your skin complexion in clear lighting so we can determine the lace colour you require.

What is the difference between a frontal and a full lace wig?
A full lace units is complete lace with stretch lace in the middle. All of our full lace wig units are versatile meaning that you are able to wear the unit up in a ponytail or a bun as well as braid the unit and care capable of being parted anywhere on the scalp. Our units are also freestyle ventilated, meaning that the unit can be combed/parted in any direction as well as braided. Our units may appear with a centre or side part when styled for photography but the part is not permanent.
Our 13x6 frontal units only have lace from ear to ear and 6 inches deep into the cap. The rest of the unit are made from wefts at the back of the unit. Our 13 x 6 glueless frontal wigs are still very versatile with our signature realistic hairline, baby hairs, bleached knots and free parting anywhere you like at the front and sides.

What does Density mean?
Hair density is simply how many hairs are added to your lace wig hair system base. In earlier years, high density was necessary because the base materials were usually made of thicker materials and would be easily exposed if hair density were low. More recently, with the advance of thinner base materials such as lace and thin skin, low density tends to look more natural especially with the see through look along the hairlines. You can chose different lace wig hair density in different areas of the lace wig base. A List lace hair generally recommends light density at the lace wig hairline and crown gradually increasing to medium density then medium density throughout the lace wig (blended well). Most of our lace wigs are made with Medium Density (130%). The lace wigs can also be made with high density. A List lace hair has six kinds of hair density below: Light Lace Wigs(100%) Light to Medium lace wigs (130%) Medium to Heavy Lace Wigs (150%) High Thick Lace Wigs(180%)

What is the best shampoo to use for my wig?
We advise co-washing the unit every two - three weeks with conditioner only due to the build up of product used on the hair eg. oil or serum. We advise shampooing and conditioning the unit once a month. We recommend using sulphate free shampoo on the unit every other wash as conditioner gets the unit back to its natural state. The more often you wash the unit the more it will shed and it is important not to comb the unit when wet. Please ensure the hair has been combed through thoroughly and it is nice and smooth before you start to wash the unit to avoid tangling.
How often should I be washing my wig?
We suggest washing the unit in conditioner only, this will get your unit back to its natural state. Please use a generous amount of sulphate free conditioner on the unit then seal it in a bag for up to 24 hours. Rinse out thoroughly and leave to air dry, please lock the moisture in with serum.

How do I care for my lace wig?
When not in use, always store your lace wig on a mannequin or lace wig stand to maintain its shape. Frequency of cleaning will depend on your environment, lifestyle and amount of perspiration. We recommend cleaning the unit no more than once a month. To clean and condition your lace wig, please view our webpage on caring for your wig.
Grooming and Maintenance
Grooming is best carried out using a wide tooth comb. These styling tools are gentle on the hair causing less pressure on the lace wig hair knots, reducing shedding. When encountering tangling, detangle hair gently, avoiding abrasive brushing. Correct product usage will prolong the lace wigs life with colour protection products and regular deep conditioning essential. Most importantly, low chemical, colour protection shampoos should be used to keep colour leakage and dryness to a minimum. The detergent chemicals held by many shampoos will further damage hair that is already very porous. The application of a natural oil treatment is recommended with a suitable anti-oxidant and UV protector to protect the hair from long-term damage. This will help prevent dryness and maintain a healthy appearance.
How do I maintain my lace wig so that I can minimise shedding and tangling?
All Lace Wigs, regardless of the vendor will lose hair. Shedding is caused my excessive combing or brushing. To minimise the hair loss, use a knot sealer after every 1-2 shampoos. Also, follow our instructions on how to shampoo your lace wig for the best results. It is recommended for each lace wig wearer to have two lace wigs, in the event one lace wig needs to be repaired.
Can I Style this lace wig?
Yes, our units can be styled just like regular hair. You can dye it, straighten it, blow dry it, curl it, etc. It is 100% Virgin Human Hair and will style like your own natural hair does.
Can I wear the hair in high ponytails, up dos and braids?
Yes, the full lace wig cap allows you to wear those styles. See some our exclusive collection in the custom gallery.
Can you dye the hair?
Yes, the hair can be dyed with a cream based dye and you want to make sure you do not get the dye on the lace.
Can the Wavy and Curly lace wigs be Flat Ironed or Hot Curled?
If you order a lace wig and select Wavy or Curly texture - that is a processed texture that is put into the hair with a perm for the wave or curl. It should not be hot curled or flat ironed regularly as it may over process the hair since it has a permanent perm already put into the hair. The only lace wigs that can be hot curled or flat ironed are the Light Yaki or Yaki Straight hair texture, or any lace wig unit that states that it is naturally curly or wavy.
